Karen E Martin

Karen E. Martin, 77 of New Albany, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on December 27, 2018. She was born on January 26, 1941 to the late Thomas and Dorothy (Enright) Buffington in Columbus, OH. She was a part of the first graduating class of Bishop Watterson High School in 1958, long time member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and devoted to her faith, family and friends. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by husband Kenneth R. "Kenny" Martin and niece Kris Reffett. Karen is survived by children, Tina (Bobby) Kountz, Kelly (B.J.) Low, Jeff (Sharon) Martin and Casey (Katie) Martin, grandchildren, Andrea (Rudy), Katie, Sophie, Ryan, Cody, Eryn, Drew and Zach, great-grandchildren, Connor and Camden, brother Tom (Sheila) Buffington, niece Laura Buffington and many cousins.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43231.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 10:00am at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 1300 Urban Dr. Columbus, OH 43229.
