Karen Renee Bigelow, 39, of Grove City, passed on to be with the Lord, Thursday, October 29, 2009, surrounded by her loving family. Born to Richard and Sharon (Steel) Hayes in Columbus, OH on September 26, 1970, Karen is preceded in death by her grandparents, Elsworth and Dorothy Hayes, Dennis and Jean Steel and Aunt Mary Louise Evans. Survivors include her parents; husband, Michael Bigelow; daughters, Kendyl and Madison Bigelow; son, Karsyn Bigelow; brother, David (Christina) Hayes; mother-in-law, Jane Bishop; two very close friends, Aunt Cindy Hayes and Jill Baldwin; many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Karen and Michael were foster parents to many children for several years. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2009, 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, with the Memorial Service at 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society/ Melanoma Research, 900 Michigan Avenue, Columbus, OH 43215. Condolences may be left at www.NewcomerColumbus.com.
