Karen Kay Shaheen

Karen Kay Shaheen, age 82 of Westerville Ohio, departed this life on November 25, 2024 after a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Alliance Ohio, and a graduate of Louisville HS, she spent much of her early life in NE Ohio, specifically Canton, where she met and married the love of her life, Louis J Shaheen, and gave birth to her 3 sons: Tim, Mike and Brian, whom she loved immensely. Karen had a huge heart and would drop what she was doing in a heartbeat to help anyone in need. She was truly selfless, and those who knew and loved her, never took that for granted. If Karen had a superpower, it was shopping, and she would tell you with a laugh and a wink that she actually had a Black Belt in shopping. We hope that Marshall's does not suffer too great a financial burden with her passing. She will be greatly missed. 

Karen was preceded in death by her husband Lou, her parents Hollis and Anna Pauline (Smith) Shook, brothers Harry Shook, Roger Shook, Bill Shook, and sisters Barbara Shook and Cherie Ann Mainwaring-Harris.

She is survived by her sons Tim, Mike (Cris), and Brian (Pam), grandson Sam Shaheen, sister Roberta Meltzer, brother Gerald Pete Shook, and numerous nieces and nephews, whom she had great affection for.
