Katherine Anne Amburgey

Katherine Ann Amburgey, known affectionately as Kathy, gracefully passed away on August 12, 2024. She was a cherished soul who touched the lives of many in her time. Born September 19, 1944, Kathy lived a life that was nothing short of remarkable.

Kathy's professional journey was one filled with dedication and excellence. She served as an executive secretary at Nationwide Insurance, where her skills and work ethic were truly admired. After years of hard work and commitment, Kathy retired from Nationwide, leaving behind a legacy of professionalism and integrity.

Beyond her career accomplishments, Kathy was known for her strength and independence. She navigated through life with grace and courage, always staying true to herself. Her love for her dogs was unparalleled, and their companionship brought her immense joy and comfort throughout the years.

In the hearts of those who knew her, Kathy's memory will live on eternally. Her warm smile, kind heart, and unwavering spirit will be dearly missed by her loved ones. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and perseverance that will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Kathy was preceded in death by her mother Grace Marie Amburgey, brothers; Carlos Michael, and Philip Amburgey. She is survived by her brothers; Wesley, Donlson, and Ronald.
