Katherine Ardella Daniels

Katherine A. Daniels, 71, of Columbus, passed away September 25, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was born on November 13, 1951 in Columbus to the late Edgar R. and Roberta (Lordier) Grace, Sr. She married Jesse "Howard" Daniels, together 54 years. He preceded her in passing on February 25, 2021.
Left to cherish the memories of Kathy include two daughters, Teresa (Brian) Brockman and Tina (Mark Artis) Daniels-Curry; Six grandchildren, Ashley (Ryno) Brockman, Jesse (Billie) Curry, Brian (Trina) Brockman, Jr., Michael (Emily) Curry, Jennifer (Glover) Artis, Jeremy (Lara) Moore; five great-grandchildren, Orion Moore, Ni'Veah Curry, Noah Woods, Karson Artis-Friend, Jesse Curry, Jr., Aria Milgate, and Dorian Milgate; Sisters-in-law, Sue (Herman) Hutton, Phyllis Frost, and Millie Grace; and many special nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Along with her beloved husband and parents, Kathy is preceded in death by brother, Skip; sisters, Phyllis and Brenda; and grand-daughter, Debra Artis.
Family was the core to Kathy's life. She spent most of her life enjoying nurturing and watching her children and grandchildren grow up. She valued time spent with each member of her family in their own special way. When she wasn't caring for their home or cheering on the next generations, Kathy loved to play bingo. She was also a fan of a good trip to the casino.
A visitation to honor Kathy's life will be held from 5 to 8 pm, Monday, October 2, 2023 at Newcomer, Northeast Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231. Service to celebrate will be held at 10am Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at Newcomer, Northeast Chapel. Burial to follow in Blendon Central Cemetery.
