WOLVERTON
Katherine May Wolverton (nee Shore), age 77, died Thursday, October 13, 2005 at O.S.U. Hospital East. Member of Wonderland Community Church, God's Love Community, retired employee of Western Electric. Predeceased by father Lawrence Shore and mother Mary Catherine Shore, brothers Raymond, John, and twin brother Kenneth, sisters Helen Mattiaccy, and little sister Ruth Payne. Survived by her husband of 58 years, John "Bud" Wolverton, although they were only together 32 years . . .the rest of the time he was fishing. She is also survived by her son and his wife, John Wolverton Jr. and Marsha; her daughter and her husband, Pat Grogan and Jerry. Survivors also include grandchildren, Kim Coble and Winston, Kelly and Jason Sizemore, Brian and Rie Grogan, Cris Wolverton and Jeremy, Glen Coble. Ryan, Brandon, Amanda, Taylor, Reece, Lindsey; sister-in-law, Josephine Shore; brother-in-law, Joseph (Carl) Payne of New Albany, IN.; nieces and nephews are Connie and Floyd Morgan, Sheryl and Chris Paules, Glen and Ruth Payne, Missy and Lanny Moffa, Nalene (Cookie) Bob Powelson,
Nancy and John Dickerson, Jerry and Carolyn Shore; and great- and great-great-nieces and nephews. Katherine touched many other lives through her generosity and humor. Family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, OH. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday. The Rev.
