Katherine Yank, 98, of Columbus, passed away July 18, 2018.
Katherine was born August 7, 1919 to Fred and Fannie (Kellett) Hensley.
She was active in her church for many, many years. Katherine enjoyed baking and decorating cakes and selling fresh eggs from the farm. She loved spending time with her family.
She was married to Richard Yank for 39 years.
Katherine will be deeply missed by her; children Donna Sharp and Rich Yank; grandchildren Denise Jones; great-grandchildren Ashley Griffin, Austin McCoy; sister Mildred (Melvin) Burdette along with numerous family and friends and special friend and neighbor Sandy Matthews.
Along with her parents, Katherine was preceded in death by her husband, son-in-law Gary Sharp, grandson Greg Sharp.
Visitation will be Monday, July 23, 2018 from 11am to 1pm at Franklin United Brethren 7171 Central College Rd. New Albany.
Funeral services will follow at 1pm at the church.
Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mount Carmel East Hospice 1144 Dublin Rd. Columbus.
