September 27, 1945 — October 10, 2023
Kathleen Marie Baisden, 78, of Grove City, OH passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 surrounded by loved ones after a long battle with breast cancer.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, David Baisden; her children, Kimberly (Patrick) Conley, Suzanne (Dan Pierce) Schmitz, Stacy (Jeremy Leach) Schmitz; step-children, David Baisden, Angie (Chris) Funk; grandchildren, Cassie (Joe), Alex (Bethany), Christopher, Ryan (Jaida), Kaylee (Zach), and Kyle; great-grandchildren, Abel, LJ, and soon to be great-granddaughter, Emerson Marie; brother, David (Gail) McDaniel; sister-in-law, Diannah McDaniel; numerous nieces and nephews.
Kathleen was preceded in death by parents, Marie and Eugene McDaniel; brothers, Larry and Joseph; children, Tracy and Steven. She was a graduate of West HS, class of 1963, and a longtime member of American Legion Women's Auxiliary Post 164. Kathleen enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and friends, and her dogs, Maggie and Coco, and showing off her luck at the casinos.
A Memorial Gathering of family and friends will be at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City on Sunday, October 15th from 2-4pm with a Celebration of Life following at the American Legion Post 164 at 3363 McDowell Rd. in Grove City.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Kathleen's memory to the American Legion Post 164.
A special thank you to the nurses and staff at Meadow Grove Transitional Care, Mt. Carmel Grove City, and the Jackson Township FD employees for their exceptional care and compassion.
