Kathleen Ann Kincaid, 90, of Gahanna, passed away on October 6, 2023 due to complications from a fall. She was born in Hesperia, Michigan to the late Orla and Lois (Clark) Lampman. She married F. Allen Kincaid on June 25, 1955; he preceded her in death.
Those left to cherish her memory include two daughters, Laura Kincaid and Julie (Gary) Rice-Weimer; daughter-in-law, Cindy Kincaid (Ted Collier); granddaughters, Amanda Case (Paul Walker) and Natalie (Chris) Presley; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandsons; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Along with husband, Al, and her parents; Kathy is preceded in death by her son Mark; brothers, Audis (Joyce) and Jim (Joan); and son-in-law Mark Rice.
Kathy graduated from Battle Creek Central High School. She worked as a secretary for many years for Wagner-Flook Construction in Battle Creek. In 1979, she moved to Kingwood, Texas; taking on the title of "Grandma Kathy" to the kids on Three Pines Drive. She was a dedicated and active member of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church of Kingwood. She served on the Altar Guild and was co-founder of the Knit-Crochet group.
In 2021, Kathy moved to Rittenhouse Village in Gahanna, to be closer to her family. She was a resident ambassador, welcoming new residents coming in. In her free time, she loved to play cards, bocce ball, and beanbag baseball.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, October 12th at All Saints Episcopal Church, 5101 Johnstown Road, New Albany, OH. Family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 12:30 PM. A burial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 11th at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens, 1490 E. Michigan Ave., Battle Creek, MI. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, 2929 Woodland Hills Drive, Kingwood, TX 77339.
