Kathleen L. Pierce, 54, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2015. Kathleen was born in Columbus, OH on March 19, 1961, to James L. and Mary L. (Denkewalter) Steitz and is preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her mother; husband, Joseph Pierce; step-daughter, Julie (Darren) Phelps-Brandenbery; sister, Leslie (Jeff) Burton; brother, James Steitz, Jr; nephew, Sebastian; niece, Sophia and their mother, Laura; aunts, uncles, cousins and long-time friend, Lynn Wright.
Kathleen was a loyal employee of Northern Lighting for over 25 years and will be missed dearly by her fellow employees and many customers from over the years.
Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, October 6, 2015, 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231 with Funeral Service at 7:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research.
