Kathleen (Trauth) Longhouse, 76, of Westerville, Ohio passed away peacefully on Friday, October 1, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Norwood, Ohio on March 4, 1945 to Carl and Lillian Trauth (nee Doering).
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Lillian Trauth, sister, Carlene (Trauth) Raleigh, brother, David Trauth, and sister-in-law, Charlene Trauth.
Kathy is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Richard Longhouse; daughter, Andrea (Dustin) Wullenweber; sons, Matthew (Mollie) Longhouse and Daniel (Sarah) Longhouse; grandchildren, Kyle Wullenweber, Max Wullenweber, Jack Wullenweber, Ella Longhouse, Henry Longhouse, Emerson Longhouse, and Nora Longhouse; siblings, Robert (Shirley) Trauth, Marilyn (Greg) Boczar, John (Sharon) Trauth, Chris Gehlert, Carl (Debbie) Trauth, Jerry (Mary Ann) Trauth, and Joey (Leeann) Trauth; many nieces, nephews and host of other family members and friends.
Kathy was very energetic and always on the move. She planned family activities, loved to travel and visit cute little towns, including her favorite destination, Deep Creek Lake. She loved swimming, boating, skiing, shopping for deals and spending time with family. She enjoyed singing and was even known to karaoke "Happy Trails". Kathy had a passion for learning and worked hard to earn her master's degree and Licensed Social Worker certification to build her career as a teacher, social worker, and Red Cross volunteer. She was an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend and will be greatly missed.

As a Celebration of Life, a Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at St. Paul Catholic Church - Westerville, 313 N State St, Westerville, OH 43082.
