Kathy L. Ruth, 52, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. Kathy was born in Westerville, OH on August 16, 1960, to William R Huffman and Mavis Ball Cole and is preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Gary Smith; mother and father-in-law, Dorothy and Richard Ruth.
Survivors include her parents, William R. Huffman and Mavis (Donald) Ball Cole; daughters, Sirena (Stephan) Ruth-Westfall; son, Shane (Dru Harrison) Ruth; sister, Quentina "Tina" Smith; brother, Brock A. (Carla) Huffman: former husband, Robert Ruth; companion, Pearlie Ankrom; canine companion, "Fluffy"; nephews, Mikey (Sarah) Friedheim and Casey (Keelie Eads) Smith; many nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 8, 2013, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow at Northlawn Memory Gardens. Kathy's family would like to thank the nurses at the Wexner Medical Center for their care and concern.
