Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, Kathy lived life as large as her heart and loved measurably. She never met a person or animal she did not adore. Kathy was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 4044, and a volunteer at the Chillicothe VA Hospital. Additionally, she was affiliated with several churches and the Native American Indian Center.
Kathy is proceeded in death by her mother, Florence Persons McCoy; fathers, Clarence McCoy and Paul (Rosie) Holly; brothers, Clarence (Mickey) McCoy and Terry Holly; and sister, Margie Baugus.
Kathy is survived by her loving son, Jerry (Jessica Bowen) Nicely; two grandsons, Joshua and Kenny Nicely; brothers, Larry (Diane) McCoy, Mark (Sandy) Holly, and Gary Holly; sisters, Carol Ollam and Bonnie Webster; sister-in-law, Christine McCoy; special companion, Bob Carpenter; loving uncle and aunt, Ed and Mary Persons; loyal cousin Ronnie; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
As the beam of sunlight fades, her memories shall live forever in our hearts.
