Katharine (Kathy) A. Stuart, 61 of Delaware, OH went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, March 2nd, 2022, after an extended illness.
Kathy served as a faithful member of CrossPointe Church in Westerville, OH. She was a zealous follower and servant of Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior. She was one of the most faithful and loving people one could ever know. Kathy used her spiritual gifts to serve others and always put the needs of others above her own. Kathy's servant heart and compassion were ever on display and demonstrated in countless ways. Although she fought a life ending condition for the last eight years, she used that condition and time to tell others about her hope in Jesus and His gospel message. Her consistent witness through words and deeds was always on display to those around her. Kathy's primary life goal was to glorify God and see others come to faith in Christ – a mission she faithfully exercised to the very end of her life on earth.
Kathy was also wholly devoted to her husband and family. She dearly loved her family and she made sure they knew it by her words and actions. Kathy often spoke of how blessed she was to have the most loving husband, sons, and family in the world. But her family would insist that they were the blessed ones, having the greatest wife, mother, and Grammy that God could provide. Kathy epitomized the Proverbs 31 description of a priceless virtuous woman who serves her family and the Lord with perfection.
28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
29 Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. (Prov. 31:28-29)
Kathy is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Robert; sons Robert (Robbie) Stuart, Jr. and Jonathan R. Stuart, daughters-in law Maggie Stuart and Jillian Stuart; grandchildren Molly Rose Stuart, Katie Elizabeth Stuart, and Henry Isaac Stuart.
She is also survived by her parents John E. Fleck and Donzella Fleck; sisters Cindy (Ian) Howlett, and Tammy Yates; brother Paul E. Fleck; sisters-in-law Shelia (Phil) Brown and Paula (Allen) Tuell, and by many nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved.
Kathy was preceded in death by her sister, Pamela Shannon.
Kathy will be deeply and profoundly missed by her husband, family, and cherished friends. But she is alive and well in the presence of the Lord, and waiting to see them all again!
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a
moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the
dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put
on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall
have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought
to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is thy
sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
(1 Cor. 15:51-55)
Kathy, we love you so much, and will miss you immensely! We will see you soon in Glory.
A memorial service celebrating Kathy's life and faith in Christ will be held on April 2nd, 2022 at 11:00am at CrossPointe Church, 119 N. Cleveland Ave., Westerville, OH 43081 (www.experiencecrosspointe.church).
