Kathy Terry

Kathleen "Kathy" Terry, age 85, of Grove City, Ohio passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on December 8, 2024. Kathy was born on October 12, 1939 in Amherstdale, West Virginia to the late Arthur and Amby Adkins. 

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Charles Adkins and James Adkins. 

She is lovingly survived by her husband of 64 years, Jack Terry, her children, Pam Shumway, Lynn (Marty) Smith, Jill (Adam) Wolfe, and Jack Jr. "Buzz" Terry, her grandchildren, Christy Cain, Derek Smith, Tony Marino, Drew Smith, Michael Butler, and Makayla Terry, her siblings, Bonnie Shepherd, Curt (Carol) Adkins, and Joy Galloway, 4 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren

She was a truly wonderful person. She was a great cook. She loved caring for others, and she was a mom to everyone. She loved her flowers and fresh vegetables out of the garden. She enjoyed canning and sharing her fresh tomato juice. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Grove City for many years. She was a devout Christian that loved Jesus. She was a successful business woman for over 20 years. Even after she retired, she continued working to assist the elderly with every day chores. She never met a stranger. 

Her greatest joy in life was her family and grandkids. 

She will be deeply missed.

In honor of Kathy's wishes, a private Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024.
