Keith Channing Birtha

Keith Channing Birtha passed away peacefully on December 21, 2023 in his home.

Keith was born on December 8, 1968, in Poughkeepsie, New York. He was the son of the late William Paul Birtha and Marion Harris Birtha, Keith's biological mother was Mercia Harris of North Carolina. After the death of Marion, Keith's father married Jaquelyn Pace who became a loving mother. He had four sisters Elise Harris, Lillian Davis, Nikki (Harris) Kirby, and Kelli Harper.

As a teen Keith was a member of Calvary Tremont Missionary Baptist Church, where he attended regularly and was a faithful member of the youth department. He made many dear friends through this youth department.

Keith was educated in the Columbus City School System, graduating from Independence High School in 1986. He also attended DeVry and Franklin University. He was employed by Safeguard Properties where he was an IT specialist.

Keith married Ewa Bieschke in 2002 and they had one son Dominic Nathaniel Birtha, who he cherished and loved deeply. He spent his life as a loving son, father, brother, uncle, and friend. Left to cherish his memories is his son Dominic, his four sisters, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 4, 2023 from 10am until the time of service at 12pm at Newcomer NE Chapel 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery.
