Keith Hunsberger, age 55, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, December 7, 2008. Survived by loving wife of 34 years, Kathy; son, Mark Hunsberger; mother, Ethelyn King; brother, Craig Hunsberger; In-laws, Lynn (Bill) Kisker, and Judy (Frank) Ivan; family friend, Nishanta Baruah who is like a "second son" and lifelong friends, Jeff Lorimer and Gregg McGrail; best friends, Mike and Tamra Reddy; faithful companion George the cat. Preceded in death by his father, Paul L. Hunsberger; brother, Scott Hunsberger; Parents In-law, Ruth and Paul Hunsinger. Keith worked for the Columbus Water/Sewer Dept. for 30 years where he managed the Customer Service Center. His dedication and enthusiam for his work was exemplary. During his tenure with the City of Columbus he mentored and encouraged many others to succeed. Keith will be greatly missed by his co-workers, including Kim Spiert, Sue Young, Suzy Popp, and Pam DeSantis Rounds. Keith was also very active in the American Water Works Association. He chaired the Customer Service Committee for the AWWA Ohio Section and conducted training classes for the Association. Keith was an avid golfer and will be greatly missed by his Royal American golf buddies. Keith also served as a Den Leader and Scout Master and was a proud Eagle Scout Dad. Friends may call from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. on Sunday, December 14, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E.
