Keith Mcmichael

September 12, 1958 — June 4, 2023

Keith McMichael was born on September 12, 1958 in Cleveland, OH to the proud parents George Jr. and Ethel McMichael. He was an identical twin and the fourth child of six children. Keith graduated from Glenville High School in 1977. Later he graduated from Ohio School of Broadcasting and Bryant & Stratton College.

In 1980, Keith met Valerie at an assembly of Jehovah's Witnesses. Both working downtown, they continued to cross paths and would frequently have lunch together. Over time, a great friendship developed between them which resulted in their uniting in marriage on November 21, 1981. They enjoyed 41 years of marital bliss and had two daughters Rosalyn Michelle and Brittini Marie.

His spiritual life began when he dedicated his life to Jehovah God and was baptized in 1979. He served as a servant and an elder in the Hayden congregation in Cleveland and upon moving his family to Columbus, OH he continued to serve as an elder in the Worthington Congregation. His love for Jehovah came first in his family. He enjoyed his ministry, teaching others Bible truths. He will be fondly remembered for encouraging others to love Jehovah and stay on the path to everlasting life.

Keith enjoyed working at AT&T for the past 20 years and retired in 2021.

Keith had a love for music. He enjoyed relaxing to smooth jazz, R&B and some of his favorite old school jams. His favorite band was the Isley Brothers and his favorite vocalist was Sade. He enjoyed deejaying at many weddings and graduation parties over the years. He loved extending hospitality to others. Keith also loved cruising with his wife and other couples. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren who brought him immense joy.

Keith fell asleep in death on June 4th, 2023 in Columbus, OH at the age of 64.

Keith is preceded in death by his father George McMichael Jr. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Valerie McMichael, his children and their families Rosalyn (Jonathan) Slaughter and Brittini (Mark) Sawyer.
