Kelly Michael Mckenzie

Kelly Michael McKenzie, 72, of Pomeroy, passed away October 4, 2023 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was born in Pomeroy, Ohio to the late Donald E. and Dorothea L. (Calvert) McKenzie.
Left to cherish memories of Kelly include one son, Michael Lee McKenzie of Pomeroy; one brother, Bruce Lee (Linda Stowe) McKenzie of Columbus, Ohio; two sisters, Mary Ann (Larry) Ewing of Bidwell, Ohio and Penny Sue (Rick McFann) Warrens of Jackson, Ohio; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Kelly is preceded in death by sister, Lisa; and brother-in-law, Ray Sisk.
Kelly worked in construction, working along side his brother. They worked together to help build some of the memorable buildings of the Columbus downtown skyline. In later years, Kelly worked for the Eagles Club in Pomeroy. When he wasn't working, Kelly enjoyed golfing, boating, and harness horse racing.
