Kelly Jo Triplett was born on December 6th 1978 to Melody Davis Brasel and Joseph Triplett. She departed from us on Sun January 30th, at 12:27pm. Kelly had suffered from underlying health conditions and had recently been diagnosed with COVID.
Kelly was a 43 year old resident of Hillard OH who survived by her long time partner Bryan Phipps in which they shared their daughter Abbygail. Kelly was also survived by numerous family members who loved and cared for her; her son Austin Stover, mother Melody Davis Brasel (Bobby), brothers, Chad Wheatley (Val), nephew CJ, Jonathan Triplett, nephew Andrew, brother in laws Dennis Phipps, Ron Phipps, and mother-in-law Gene Phipps. Aunts, unlcles, and dozens of cousins; Ted Baker and children, Katherine (Wayne) Buescher, John (Debbie) Triplett, Tim (Darci) Triplett, Tom Triplett, Theresa Triplett, Jim (Ann) Davis. Kelly had well over 21 first cousins and countless friends. She was especially close to her cousin Tiffany (Tiffy), they were raised as sisters, and her best friend Bethany Conley Dilley.
Kelly was a Wellston High School Cheerleader and attended Dublin Coffman High School. She was an avid Buckeye fan, loved the Bengals, and never missed a game. Her love of football developed when she was in 4th grade and would watch the games with her daddy. Kelly was such a daddys girl.
Later in life Kelly developed a true passion for reading and belonged to numerous book clubs. Her life and days revolved around Brian, Abby, and Marlyn, their beloved cat. She would always have a funny story to tell Marlyn. Kelly loved being a mom. She took great pride in it. She absolutely loved her day to day life with Brian and Abby,
Kelly was a tremendous daughter, mother, niece, aunt, sister, cousin, and friend. It did not matter what role in life she was fulfilling at any given time she did it to the best of her ability, and loved with all that she had. Kelly was fiercely loyal and if you were blessed enough to have her in your life, she would always be by your side. We must also not forget about the sense of humor she had. Kelly had a natural sense of humor. She was so funny and witty, Could bring a smile to any situation.
There are truly not enough words to do Kelly Jo justice, to describe who she truly was and how much she meant to everyone. She made your life better just by being in it.
Kelly was preceded in death by her father Joseph Triplett, grandparents Irvin (Agnes) Triplett, Bob (Ellen) Davis, Aunt Julia Ann Baker. She was so deeply loved and will forever be missed.
