Ken "Moe" Yonek, 59, Columbus, passed away on October 9, 2010. Moe was born in Cleveland, OH on July 15, 1951, to George and Betty Yonek and is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Gretchen "Dee" (Gierhart) Yonek; daughter, Melissa Sue (Matthew) Rogers; grandchildren, Andrew Louis and Rachel Ann Rogers; brother, Gary (Marge) Yonek; nephew and niece, Zach and Kira Yonek. Moe graduated from Perkins High School in Sandusky, OH and later from Tiffin University with a BA Degree. He owned and operated StoogeMore until 1999 and then worked at the Columbus Post Office. Moe was a proud member of the Masonic Lodge, 32nd Degree. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 17, 2010, 1:30 – 3:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231 with a Memorial Service to follow at 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Cancer Society, 870 Michigan Avenue, Columbus, OH 43215. Messages of condolence may be left at www.NewcomerColumbus.com.
