Kenneth E. Strickler

Kenneth E. Strickler, age 87, of Grove City passed away surrounded by his loving family on March 20, 2006 at Mt. Carmel West. He was a WWII Veteran in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the VFW Post 3424, American Legion Post 164, and the E. L. Evans Senior Center. He was a previous member of the Clog 4 U Cloggers, The Thoroughbred Association and an owner of many race horses and race cars. He was preceded in death by parents Daniel and Hattie Strickler (Trickett); Step-Father, Harry Trickett; Step-Brother, Earnest Trickett; Step-Sister, Kathleen Whiteside. Survived by his wife of 59 years, Edna Strickler; Daughter, Andrea (Henry) Snodgrass; Granddaughters, Deborah (Robert) Crow, Angela Mann. Family will receive friends from 2:00pm-4:00pm & 6:00pm-8:00pm, Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio with a VFW tribute starting at 7:30p.m. Funeral services will be held 11:00am Thursday, March 23, 2006 at the funeral home with Dr. Rev. James Moran officiating. Interment will follow at Grove City Cemetery with military honors presented by VFW Post 3424.
