MOORE
Kenneth Dale Moore, age 76, of Grove City passed away on July 21st surrounded by his loving family. Born August 13, 1931 in Nallen, WV, he was a 1949 graduate of Nuttall High School and was an Airman 2nd Class who served with the 339th Fighter Intercepter Squadron in Japan during the Korean War. He owned and operated Moore's Appliance Service. He was an avid sports fan and a gifted musician who wrote and performed his own gospel music and loved entertaining family and friends. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Grove City and a member of the choir. Preceded in death by father Clace C. Moore, mother Mabel Carmichael Moore, his first wife Patricia Beury Moore, and his brother-in-law Avra Amick. Survived by his wife of 26 years, Thelma; sister Eloise Amick; children, Marcia Lisska (Brad), K.D. (fiancee Cindy), Dan (Susan) Castle, Patti (Jim) Rowlette, and Larry (Jeft) Castle; grandchildren Brandon, Rob, Brian, Ryan, Jason, Nick. Daniel, and Katie; great-grandchildren Mason, Rylan, George, and Shirley. Friends may call at the NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 3393 Broadway Avenue, Grove City on Thursday, July 24, 2008 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be at the First Baptist Church, 2730 Kingston Avenue, Grove City on Friday, July 25, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. The burial with military honors will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5600 East Broad Street, Columbus. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Building Fund at the First Baptist Church in Grove City. The family extends a special thank you to the Mt.
