ERLER
Kenneth P. Erler, 72, of Columbus, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2010, surrounded by his loving family. Ken was born to Kenneth D. and Thelma (Spafford) Erler in Gahanna, OH on January 19, 1937, and is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Shirley Giamarco; step-mother, Minnie Erler. Survivors include his son, W. Christopher (Bonnie) Erler; daughters, Melissa (Christopher) Bailey and Monica (Steve) Collier; step-son, Greg Pelfrey; grandchildren, Lorna, Dalton, Shawn, Chad; sister, Betty Fauth; former wife, Eulavon Erler; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Ken served with the USMC in Korea, retired from the Columbus Dispatch, worked for Kreiger Ford for many years and was a member of the Local Teamsters Union. At Ken's request, there will be no services. Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH is honored to serve the Erler Family.
