Kenneth Alan Vaido, affectionately known as Ken, departed this world on January 28, 2025, in Columbus, Ohio, with a legacy of an unwavering dedication to family and friends. Born on November 20, 1958, in Brockton, Massachusetts to the late Steven and Geraldine Vaido. Ken's journey through life was defined by his generous spirit and his earnest desire to lend a helping hand.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Lynn Vaido and his brothers, John Vaido and Steven Vaido Jr.
For many years, Ken was the proud owner of Ken's Atlantic Towing, a testament to his hard work and commitment to his community. His tireless efforts in business were not merely for self-gain, but rather a means to provide for his loved ones. Following his years as a business owner, he transitioned to the role of a hospital security officer, where his innate kindness continued to shine through. His ability to bring a sense of safety and security to those around him was just one of the many ways he enriched the lives of others.
Known for his blunt demeanor and sense of humor, Ken had a way of lighting up the room, leaving behind laughter in his wake. He was a devoted husband, profoundly cherishing his marriage of seven years to his beloved wife, Lynn. In life, he was captivated by the joy of being a grandparent, delighting in the company of his grandchildren. Their laughter and presence brought him immense happiness, delivering countless cherished memories over joyous family gatherings and motorcycle rides with his friends.
Ken's earthly life ended with his choice to reunite with Lynn, expressing a love beyond their physical existence. His passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who knew him, but they are comforted by the memory of his love, humor, and selflessness.
