Kevin James Marshall

Kevin James Marshall, 61, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, with his wife Luanne by his side. Born to Ralph and Rosemary (Reiger) Marshall of La Mirada, California, Kevin was affectionately known as "The Godfather of the Punk Guitar" and was the lead guitarist for the band The Assassins. Alongside his passion for music, Kevin built successful careers as an electrician and in real estate. He was also the CEO of Econo Parts Guru and most recently served as the General Manager of Auto Part Surplus in Reynoldsburg, Ohio.

Kevin is survived by his brothers Wayne (Dody) Marshall and Michael (Ann) Marshall, as well as his stepdaughters Chrissie (Craig) Celaya and Loni (Justin) Jordan. He was a devoted grandfather to Caylen, Chloe, Coulter, Jacob, and Aubrey. Kevin is preceded in death by both his parents, his stepson Charles Putt, and his sister Paula Armstrong. 

He will be deeply missed by his wife and brothers, brothers and sisters-in-law, his many nieces and nephews, and all his friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH.
