On Friday, December 4, 2020 Kevin Craig Raymond a devoted husband, a kind brother and loving father and a new time Grandfather unexpectedly passed away at age 53.
Kevin Raymond was born on May 31, 1967 in Grove City, Ohio. Son to Henry and Jeneniene Raymond along with three brothers on his side named Ryan, Patrick (Joni) and Joseph Raymond. Kevin was the graduating class of 1985 from Teays Valley High School in Ashville, Ohio.
In the past 15 years, working hard his whole life he built a career as a Journeyman Substation Technician, working hard for several different companies like Thompson's Electric, and New River Corporation, all in the IBEW Local 71. Kevin, also took the time to coach in little league soccer and softball in Amanda, Stoutsville and a couple out of Lancaster, Ohio. Soccer being his Favorite.
On September 5th 1992 Kevin married the love of his life, Valerie Raymond. They had two beautiful daughters together. Named Alisha and Kerry following in the Family are his two Son in laws, Zach Damron and Robert Turner. On September 24th of this year 2020 Kevin and his wife Valerie we're officially announced Grandparents to baby boy named Rayden Hank Damron aka "Their Lovable Rainbow baby" along with his two Grandsons Thomas and Brandon Turner; He is also survived by his dogs, Chewy, Polar, and Diesel. In addition to his wife, daughters, brothers, and his many "adopted" children, including Austin Ross and Kristine Rice; aunt, Rose Evener; two cousins, Chris (April) Raymond and Sheila (Rick) Wilson, and many other cousins; nieces and nephews; as well as many special friends, Mike and Diana Mowery; Terri Mullins, Crystal and Shelly Lowery; Dane and Steph Kissel; Jimmy and Amy Coomer; Calvin Gilbert; and all of his Hickory Hills friends who turned into family.
He is preceded in death in addition to his parents, Henry and Jeneniene; mother in law Janie Geiger; two angel grand babies; uncle, Robert; uncle, Steve, and aunt Audrey O'Kula; aunt, Mary Raymond; niece, Traci Raymond; best friends, Randy O'Bryan, and Don Mullins, several cousins.
Kevin was a devoted man to all his friends, Donald Trump, and most importantly his family. His Wife Valerie was the love of his life. He cherished every single moment, up until his last breath caring for his family. When the Lord had taken you, He chose one of the best men that he could have ever taken. You will surely be missed by everyone that came to know you. In loving memory, your family.
As a special request, the family asks anyone to bring in a special Christmas ornament that reminds them of Kevin.
