Kimberly Denise was the only daughter born to Joe Dunlap, Sr. and Doris Dunlap on June 24, 1966 in Columbus, Ohio. She was a proud graduate of Columbus City Schools and studied at Ohio Dominican University.
One of four children, Kim lived her life declaring her love for her family and always putting God first. She received the baptism of the Holy Spirit at Eliezer Church of Christ, under the pastorate of her grandfather, the late Bishop Sandy Dunlap. Under this ministry, she faithfully served in various areas such as the music department, youth ministry and in the Sunday School department.
After years of serving where she received her spiritual foundation, God called her to transition to Living Faith Apostolic Church, under the leadership of Bishop Edgar Posey. There she continued to operate in ministry and the gifts God had placed on her life. Serving in such areas as a Sunday School teacher, musician, choir member, song writer and minister, she remained committed in her unwavering desire to fulfill all that God had for her life.
On October 2, 1999, Kim married the love of her life, Timothy Darnell Nathan, Sr. To their union were born two children, Timothy Darnell, Jr. and Jaelynn Desiree. Together they shared a family of five with daughters Charmaine, Jazmine and Talia.
Passionate about her family and sharing the gospel message, Kim took every opportunity to spread love and to preach and teach to anyone who would listen. Her love for music enabled her to utilize her gift, traveling abroad with the Living Faith Mass Choir, sharing why she lived a surrendered life for Christ.
Kim brought joy to many lives, often in the way of humor. She loved her family, loved people and loved the Dallas Cowboys.
Kim had a very long and hard journey, but through it all, she remained faithful to God, always having a positive outlook and often sharing an encouraging word to others.
