Kristi L. Marshall of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, passed away Monday, April 1, 2024. She was born in Long Island, New York on March 14, 1944. She spent the last two years in Cherry Blossom Senior Living in the memory care unit with Parkinson's disease. Graduate of Baldwin High School class of 1962 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Following High School she attended St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota where she received her undergraduate degree in Biology. After she graduated from college she went to work at Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio where she worked for about four years. She then went on to work for Battelle Memorial Institute in Columbus, Ohio and retired after thirty-six years.
Kristi and her husband Richard D. Marshall (of 36 years) lived in Reynoldsburg, Ohio for 35 years. Preceded in death by parents Arnold and Ruth Peterson, sister Linda Laugen. Survived by sons William A Fowler (Jill), David T Marshall (Beth), Eric C Marshall (Sue) and three loving grandchildren.
Kristi enjoyed being a homemaker, housewife, and grandmother to her three grandchildren. She loved the outdoors where she and her husband enjoyed camping and traveling around the country with friends. She also enjoyed fishing and snow and water skiing. Euchre was one of her favorite pastimes with friends. Kristi was an accomplished musician where she played the piano, guitar and violin. Her real love was dancing. Having been trained in ballet at a young age, she turned that skill to liturgical dance at her local church. She was also the church secretary for many years at Trinity United Methodist in Pickerington, Ohio.
Kristi will be sorely missed by all but is now dancing before Jesus on the streets of gold.
Visitation will be on Wednesday April 10th from 9:00 - 11:00 AM at Life City Church, 6389 Blacklick-Eastern Rd NW, Pickerington, Oh 43147. Funeral service will follow visiting hours at 11:00 AM with Pastors Dr. Scott Kelso and Pastor Matt Rice officiating. Lunch will be provided following the service. Burial will be at Glen Rest Memorial Estate, 8029 E. Main St. Reynoldsburg, Oh 43068 following lunch.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation in memory of Kristi L. Marshall.
