Ladimer Joseph Maresh, 92, of Columbus, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2007 at St. Ann's Hospital. He was born December 28, 1914, in Cleveland, Ohio, son of the late Joseph and Anna Maresh. Ladimer is survived by his wife, Wanda Kostencki Maresh; sons, Jeffery (Paula) Maresh of Conifer, Colorado and David (Sandra) Maresh of Beavercreek, Ohio; grandchildren, Daniel Maresh of Columbus, Ohio and Katharine Maresh of Beavercreek, Ohio; brother, Elmer Maresh. Ladimer served in the U.S. Army during WWII from 1941-1945. A graduate of the Western Reserve University School of Pharmacy, he began his career as a laboratory technician in the U.S. Army Medical Corp. and later worked as a pharmaceutical chemist and Director of Research and Development for several pharmaceutical companies. Private services will be held at the family's convenience. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mount Carmel St. Ann's Pallative Care Unit, c/o Mount Carmel Foundation, 793 W. State St. Columbus, Ohio 43222-9988. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff in the Palliative Care Unit at St. Ann's Hospital.
