Lambertus "Bert" Dries, 81, passed away April 5, 2013. He was born May 27, 1931 in Paterson, New Jersey.
Bert was preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Agnes Dries; sister, Dorothy DeYoung and brother-n-law, Bill DeYoung.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Jean; children, Tom, Victor, Debbie, Arlene, JoAnne, Donald and Lynnie; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Bert was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
A memorial gathering will be held from 12:00 p.m. till the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 8, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The American Lung Association, 1950 Arlington Lane, Columbus, OH 43228.
