Lance Kevin See

Lance Kevin See, 76, of Steubenville, passed away at his home on Monday, October 30th 2023.

Lance was born January 5th 1947 in Columbus, Ohio to William Edward and Mary K. (Dawson) See. Lance was a proud Marine that had served in Vietnam and was awarded a Purple Heart in addition to other medals and honors. In addition to his love of The Marines, he also loved trains and had worked on the railroad after his military service.

He retired from the railroad and the government. Lance loved his family, fur kids, traveling and going to the beach, music, as well as OSU football and had maintained lifelong friendships. In addition to his hobbies he loved Deborah's grandson Isaac Eldredge (his lil buddy).

Lance will be deeply missed by his sweetheart Deborah White of 8 years; Daughter Brigit (Adam) Holtzapfel;
Sisters-in-Law, Mary Jo See and Beverley See; Nephews and Nieces, Vernon, John, Ken, Stephanie, Shelley, David, and their families.

Lance was preceded in death by his parents William Edward & Mary K. See, wife Margaret Ann (Ward) See, brothers Jack (Lois), Charlie, and David See, Stepson Gregory Myers.

Visitation will be November 10, 2023, from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. at Newcomer NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus.

Burial will be at Kingwood Memorial Park, where military rites will be held.
