Larry V. Acheson, 70, passed away August 9, 2006, at OSU Hospital, Columbus. Born June 18, 1936, to the late Vernon and Gladys (Parker) Acheson in Zanesville, Ohio, Larry is also preceded in death by his wife Carolyn. Survivors include his son Larry D. (Rose) and grandson Glenn Vernon Acheson. Larry worked for the Ohio Bell Telephone Company as a supervisor and was a member of the Shelby Club of America. Also past president of the Columbus Mustang and Thunderbird Clubs. Visitation will be held Monday, August 14, 2006, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, Northeast Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio. Services will be held Tuesday, August 15, 2006, 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery. Condolences may be left @ www.newcomerfuneralhome.com
