Larry E. Allton, 80, of Grove City, Ohio passed away March 29, 2022. He was born on March 3, 1942 in Columbus to the late Harold and Mildred (Davis) Allton.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Danny E. Allton; sister, Karen Evans; grandparents, Earl and Vernie (Thompson) Davis; great-granddaughter, Selah Paige Allton.
Surviving family includes, wife of 58 years Katie Allton; children, Wes (Tonja) Allton, Louise (Randy) Ankrum, Guy (Laura) Allton; grandchildren, Andrew (Courtney) Allton, Chelsie (Josh) Mollohan, Morgan (John) Karges, Eric Allton, Ryan Allton, Kenidi Jackson, Sam Hertenstein, Allie (Gerad) Stephens, Sophie Hertenstein, AJ Ankrum; 6 great-grandchildren; siblings, Carol-Anne (Mike) Hale, Michael (Pam) Allton, Mary-Louise (Gary) Ehlert, Kevin (Toni) Allton and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Larry was a devoted husband and father who enjoyed sports, especially the Ohio State Buckeyes and competition of any kind. Larry was a big Elvis Presley fan. He worked until retirement as the caretaker of a church.

Visitation will be held on Saturday April 9, 2022 from 2pm to 5pm at Newcomer SW Chapel 3393 Broadway Grove City, Ohio 43123. Memorial service will begin at 4pm.
