Larry D. Hobson passed away, Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at Regency Hospital in Columbus, OH. He was born on January 8, 1938 in Albany, IN to Crystal and Roy Hobson. In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by his brother, Myron and son, David. Larry is survived by his sons, Douglas A. of Mt. Sterling and Daniel L. of Arkansas; grandchildren, James, Robert and Nicholas; siblings, Jarry K., Don R. and Marita (Leon) Fields; and loving companion, Etta Brookover. Along with driving a truck, Larry was a horse owner and trainer all of his life. He was a lifetime member of Albany Masonic Lodge. He lived in Albany, IN, Mt. Sterling and Orient, OH. Visitation will be Friday, October 16, 2009 from 4 to 7 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Larry's name may be made to Bethel UM Church, 272 North Dalton Ave., Albany, IN 47320.
