LARRY GENE SEYMOUR
Larry Gene Seymour, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and long-serving veteran, passed away on July 4, 2024, in his hometown of Columbus, Ohio. He was born on July 14, 1945, to his parents William Seymour and Jewell Broome.
A proud marine, Larry served in the Vietnam War with honor and dedication.
In addition to military service, Larry was a devoted family man. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Linda Seymour. Together they built a life filled with love and cherished memories. Larry's legacy lives on through his sons, Larry (Jammie) Seymour and Scott Seymour. He was also a wonderful grandfather to Kevin (Amanda) Seymour, James (Chelsie) Seymour, Kenneth Seymour, Patrick Seymour, Devin Seymour; and great-grandfather to Cameron (Jami) Seymour, Rylan Seymour, Jaxon Seymour, Bohan Seymour, and Callahan Seymour. Larry is also survived by his brother, William Allen (Adrienne) and his sister Patricia Grodhaus.
Larry is preceded in death by his mother Jewell Broome, stepfather Kenneth Broome, father William Seymour, sister Judith Clark, brother Michael Seymour, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family members.
A man of integrity and loyalty, Larry Gene Seymour touched the lives of many with his kindness and strength. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
