Larry Lee Wilkes, 82 passed away on March 3, 2024.
He was born on September 20, 1941 in The Plains, OH, then later moved to North Linden when he was a youngster.
He graduated from Lincoln McKinley High School. As a teenager, he worked at Wards Hardware Store and after graduation at Williams and Company. He served many years as a Clinton Township Trustee. Larry spent many years working on gathering North Linden friends for an annual get together and luncheon. He also spent many years collecting vintage toys and types of antiques.
He is survived by one brother, Fred Allen Wilkes, sister-in-law, Janet Wilkes, numerous nieces and nephews in Texas, many cousins in Athens County Ohio and special neighbor Brian Murphy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Lavella Wilkes and brothers, Kenneth Wilkes and Rex Wilkes.
There will be no formal service or visiting hours.
