Larry Williamson

Our beloved father, husband, uncle, and friend, Larry Dale Williamson passed away peacefully with family on July 18, 2023, after extended illness. He is survived by so many loved ones and preceded in death by many more.
He was not just the greatest of all time to walk this earth. He was kind, generous, hard-working, fun-loving, and the most loyal man anyone would be proud to know.
At the age of 18, he met and married the love of his life, Rose Mary Williamson (Berridge). They blessed this world with four daughters, Elizabeth (Billy Joe) Meade, Kimberly (J.R) Wood, Angel (Tony) Bennett and Rosanna (Roger) Gearheart. They have been blessed with many grandchildren, Nathaniel (Cassandra) Meade, Devon (Jenna) Meade, Brice Meade, Mary (Matt) Huber, Jarod Wood, Derek Davis, Chancellor Davis, Hunter Davis, Carson Davis, Mason Hinkle, and Sommer Meade. Great-Grandchildren, Kelly and Kylie Meade, Cameron, Nicholas, Maddison Meade, Sunny Davis, Finnegan, and Declan Huber. Their love of 57 years shall carry on through all eternity.
Born to Floyd and Gloria Williamson (Gearry), July 16, 1946, he was preceded in death by both, as well as his sister, Lela Fawcett (Williamson). Loved ones forever missed in our lives and hearts, as also left behind was Missie (Erich) Roeseler and Becky Neece.
Larry was also an amazing brother-in-law and uncle to his beautiful wife's Berridge family consisting of 8 sisters-in-law and 8 brothers-in law, plus their spouses, and many nieces and nephews! He loved each and every one equally and with a full heart!
He was a man that was the very poster for the golden rule, do unto others, as you would have them do unto you. He never knew a stranger, nor ever had an unkind word for another. If you needed anything, at any time, day or night, you could call him, and he would be there! So many people were able to get to and from work, to provide for their families, because he kept the cars running. He would fix anything that you needed repaired!!! If anyone could do it, it was him!!!
He set the bar high for all men, especially for his daughters. He certainly has large shoes that are impossible to fill. There will never be another that walks this earth as genuine and pure as he was. Our world is forever changed, and will forever be shadowed by loss, but enlightened by the sheer joy and love that was provided and reciprocated by his many loved ones.

Celebration of Life to be held on July 30,2023 at the Aladdin Shrine Center, 1801 Gateway Cir, Grove City, OH 43123. Doors open at noon, with pasta buffet starting between 12:30 and 12:45 and he will be celebrated until doors close at 3pm. Join us in celebrating a life gone but never forgotten.
