Lavella Metzler, 94, Gahanna, passed away Friday, July 9, 2010. Lavella was born in Chauncey, OH on October 13, 1915, to Fred and Carrie Ross and is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William E. Metzler; son, William F. Metzler; 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Survivors include sons, John P. Metzler and Robert T. (Sandy) Metzler; grandchildren, Stephanie (Michael) Hoermle, Nicole Metzler, Renee Metzler, Sarah Metzler, Derek Metzler; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Norma Lee (Bill) Worbs, Helena Leffler, Gleneta Locke; brother, Paul (Shirley) Ross. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 12, 2010, 3-5 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service at 5:00 PM. Interment will be Tuesday, July 13, 2010, 10:00 AM at Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, OH.
