LaVerne B. Campbell, 86, Columbus, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2011. LaVerne was born in Chicago, IL on July 15, 1924, to Paul and Erna Weiss and is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Dwain Campbell. She is survived by her son, Scott M. (Lauralee) Campbell. LaVerne graduated from Cornell College in Iowa, member of the Chicago Camera Club and is a member of the Karl Road Christian Church. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2011, 6-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service on Friday, April 29, 2011, 10:00 AM at Karl Road Christian Church, 5400 Karl Road, Columbus, OH 43229. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her church.
