 Lawrence Edward Alban, 93 went to be with the Lord on Sunday February 2, 2025 at The Laurels of Worthington, Worthington, Ohio.

Larry Alban was born on March 1, 1931 at St Ann’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, he was son of the late Edward A. and Virgene Donaghue Alban. His younger sister Carol Alban Johnson has preceded him in death. 

Larry graduated from West High School in 1949. Following high school he served in the United States Army as a Private First Class during the Koren War. Larry earned two bronze stars during his service. Following his service to country , Larry worked for the Ohio Bell Telephone Company for eighteen years. He left Ohio Bell to start his own real estate company, Larry E. Alban Century 21 Real Estate, serving central Ohio residents for more than 50 years. Larry was an active member of the community , serving as President of the Board of Realtors. 

Larry maintained life long friendships with his West High School peers. He enjoyed spending time boating on Buckeye Lake and catching up with friends to enjoy music at AmVets Post 51 Thornville, OH and American Legion Demorest Road. 

He is survived by his children, Phillip E. Alban (Cheryl), Schenectady, New York, Gregory W. Alban Columbus, Ohio and Alicia S. Alban, Piedmont California, Grand children, Evan Alban (Jacquline), Austin Alban, ( Alexandra), Luke Alban, Graham Alban and great grand child Emma Alban.

Larry will be laid to rest next to his father and mother at Hill Cemetery, Oak Hill, Ohio

The family asks that in lieu of flowers or cards, donations in Larrys name be made to the charity of your choice.
