Lawrence Scott

On Wednesday March 3rd 2021, Lawrence "Larry" Calvin Scott, Sr., loving husband, awesome father, and the world's best grandfather passed away at the age of 70. Lawrence was born on December 11, 1950 in Columbus, Ohio. Lawrence had a love for movies, home theatre, and spending time with family. Lawrence attended Central High School where he would then go on to serve four years in the United States Air Force. Lawrence married his wife, Betty (Goins) in October of 1984. At the age of 56 Lawrence retired from the City of Columbus' EBA division. Lawrence was preceded in death by his brothers, Gary Scott and Michael Leroy Scott; father, Clarence Scott. Surviving Lawrence are his mother, Betty Scott; Wife, Betty Scott (Goins) of 36 years, children Enga Fuqua (James), Lawrence C. Scott, Jr (Brittany), Dwight Scott (Channak), Alyson Tucker (Brandon); Grandchildren, James, Madelyn, Nick, Larry III, Deon, Major, Brandon JR, Drake, Asher, and Lillian; mother, Betty Scott; sisters, Angela Scott and Tonya Scott; and brother, Thomas Scott. Friends may call at the NEWCOMER SOUTHWEST CHAPEL 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123 on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 12:00 noon. Interment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.
