Leah Rachel Carringer

Leah Rachel Carringer, 42, of Columbus Ohio went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at her home in Columbus. Leah was born October 21, 1981 in Columbus, Ohio to Jerry and Donna (McGuire) Carringer.

Leah was a 2000 graduate of Northside Christian School, where she attended K-12. She also obtained her Associates Degree from Columbus State Community College. Leah held various positions over her nearly 18-year career at Safelite Autoglass. Leah loved Jesus and was an active member at Dublin Baptist Church since her teenage years. She served in many capacities, but mainly worked in the Children’s Ministry as a preschool Sunday school teacher, with Mission Friends each Wednesday evening, and also with DBC Kids for any special event. She loved volunteering at Vacation Bible School each summer, happy to teach children about Jesus. Leah was the biggest Atlanta Braves fan this side of the Ohio River. She couldn’t get enough and would talk about her Braves every chance she could. Her Golden Lab, Pippa, was the joy of her life.

Leah was the kindest and sweetest person you could have ever met, with nothing bad to say about anyone. She was a giving and loving friend to everyone who knew her. A piece of our hearts left us when she left this earth for Heaven.

Leah is survived by her mother, Donna Carringer, her father, Jerry (Margaret) Carringer. Her sister, Sara Carringer, her brother, Seth Carringer, and her beloved dog, Pippa, along with aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends.

Leah was preceded in death by her grandparents Don and JoAnne McGuire and Wayne and Willa Mae Carringer, as well has her Uncle Dan.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 25, 2024 from 1:00-3:00PM at Dublin Baptist Church 7195 Coffman Rd. Dublin, with a funeral service directly following, with Pastor’s JD Davis and Randall Wood officiating.
