Fox Leah LaVelle (Luedtke, Britton, Yates) Fox, 74, of Columbus, June 5, 2007, at Kobacker House. Born April 24, 1933 in Walla Walla, WA, Leah lived most of her adult life in Columbus. She worked for the State of Ohio for 37 years beginning in the Attorney General's office and retiring from the Department of Transportation. Leah loved her cats, reading, gardening, traveling and especially her Saturday lunch bunch. She requested special acknowledgement of two very dear friends, Sharon and Linda. She was a Veteran of the US Air Force, Korean Conflict. Leah handled her leukemia diagnosis with dignity. She was preceded in death by husband Harry B. Fox Jr. and son Thomas. She is survived by children Phyl Fox, Shari Doolin and Ken Fox, all of Columbus; granddaughters Kyna, Aryn and Taylor Fox and Randi Doolin. Visitation will be Saturday, June 9, 2007 from 1:00-3:00 pm followed by a funeral service at Newcomer Funeral Home N.E. Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus.
