Lena M. Greene, 84, of Columbus, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2006. Born to the late Elmer and Ruth (Hable) VanHoose in Ashland, Ky., Lena is preceded in death by her husband, Oma Greene, Jr.; sons, Earl Broughton and Asa R. Williams. Survivors include her son, John M. Williams; brothers, Marion and William VanHoose; grandchildren, Earl Williams, Asa Williams, Jason Broughton; many friends and loved ones. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 1, 2006, from 2-4 p.m. & 6-8 p.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, Northeast Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231. Graveside services will be held on Monday, October 2, at Sugar Creek Cemetery, Hickley, OH. Messages of condolences may be left at www.newcomerfamily.com.
