Leona Ruth Stanley-May, 82, of Columbus, OH, passed away February 26, 2011 at home with her family. She was born on October 15, 1928 in Hellier, KY to H. Henan and Kansas (Phiffs) Stanley. Family includes, daughters, Carol J. Minnehan, Barbara L. Babcock, Sandra C. Sharp, sons, Charles R. May, John M. May Sr., sisters, Lorriane (Harm) Thomas, Sharon Kaye Stanley, brothers, Gene, Jack and Kenneth Stanley, over 100 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charles Homer May, sisters, Christine Austin, Naoma Senters, brother, Billy Stanley. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 6:00 to 8:00pm, March 3, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00pm, March 4, 2011 in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery.
