Leslie A. Daniels, 81, of Columbus, passed away July 20, 2007 . He was born September 5, 1925 in Bath Co., KY, to the late Thomas A. and Julia Ethel (Mynhier) Daniels. Leslie is also preceded in death by his son, Alvy; sisters, Willa Kate Daniels, Elva Spencer, Lillie Daniels, Ella May Adair and brothers, Howard, Chester and Frank. Leslie is survived by his loving wife Emma; sons, Thomas (April) and James (Lorretta); grandchildren, Tina (Brandon), Tammy (Gary), Josh, Lacey, Jessica; great-grandchildren, Brandon, Kayla and Sabrina; sisters, Aletha Wills, Nora Moore, Christina Swopes and many nieces and nephews. Leslie retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. He was a veteran of the US Army and a member of Local UAW 969. Visitation will be held 5:00-8:00PM Sunday, July 22, 2007 and 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00PM Monday, July 23, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Funeral services will be held 10:00AM Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at the funeral home. Interment will be at Sunset Cemetery. Messages of condolence may be left at www.NewcomerFamily.com
