Leslie E. Zuiderweg, Gahanna, Ohio, passed into eternal life on Sunday morning, January 28, 2007, at Kobacker House. Born on April 24, 1933, in San Clemente, CA, to Hendrik and Martha Zuiderweg, Leslie is survived by his wife of 51 years, Jean (Armbrust) Zuiderweg; sons, Lee (Donna), New Albany and Michael of Marengo; precious granddaughters, Bryana Lyn, Alayna Kae and Kyra Noel; brothers, Thomas (Thelma) Columbia, CA; Gerald; Lower Lake, CA and sister Arlene Frost Lancaster, CA. Brothers-in-law, Charles and Carl (Carol) Armbrust; sister-in-law, Eva Walker; many nieces and nephews and very dear friends. Les served eight years in the United States Air Force and retired from Worthington City Schools after 30 years. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, February 4, 2007 at 2:00 PM at the Gahanna Community Congregational Church, 470 Havens Corners Road, Gahanna, OH. Donations may be made in Mr. Zuiderweg's memory to the Memorial Fund of the Church or Kobacker House. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH. Messages of condolence may be left at www.newcomerfamily.com
