Lester C. Grace, 55, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2006, at his home. Born August 26, 1951, in Columbus to Frank J. and Betty (Foster) Grace, Lester is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Survivors include his wife, Harriet Martin-Grace; sons, Mark, Alphonso, Robert (Jawanna), and Lester Grace; daughter, Kimberly (Elvis) Henderson; brothers, Franklin L. (Ruth), Terrance (Karen) Grace; sisters, Beverly Grace-Heglar, Kathleen Calloway, Priscilla Grace; host of grandchildren; aunts, Florence Taylor, Lilly Arter; uncles, Slyvester (Janice) Foster, Howard (Audrey) Foster; mother-in-law, Margaret Martin; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Todd and Yvonne Martin; brothers-in-law, Howard (Ida) Martin and Dana Stevens; best friends, Samuel Cherry, Roger Gliech, Ray and Lenna Solomon. Lester was employed by the Franklin County Department of Job and Family Services. Services will be conducted on Thursday, September 21, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Christ of The Apostolic Faith, 1200 Brentnell Avenue, Columbus, OH Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Glen Rest Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Newcomer Funeral Home, Northeast Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH.
