Letha Aileen Montgomery, 98, Columbus, passed away Friday, March 1, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. Letha was born in Columbus, OH on June 15, 1914, to Guy and Lulu Estella (Seely) Davidson, and is preceded in death by her parents; husband, George W. Montgomery; son, John D. Montgomery; brother, Paul Arthur Davidson.
Survivors include her daughter, Wendy Estes; sons, Douglas William (Elizabeth L) Montgomery and Larry (Peg) Montgomery; daughter-in-law, Sharon Montgomery; grandchildren, Brent (Cathy) Montgomery, Sabrina Oles, Judd (Jackie) Montgomery, Keith Montgomery, Molly (Korey) Loughry, Gregg (Jeannie McCabe) Montgomery, Andy Montgomery; Jean (Dan) Byrne, Kate (Joel) Hawn, Amy (James) Kang, David (Patty) Estes; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; nieces, nephews and many friends.
Letha worked as a fur finisher for F & R Lazarus.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2013, 11:00 AM at Linworth Baptist Church, 6200 Linworth Road, Worthington, OH 43085, with visitation one hour prior.
Memorial contributions may be made to Linworth Baptist Church or Baptists for Life of Central Ohio.
